Veteran Waumba Land volunteers have started a non-profit organization called Loving Others Thru Service. Beth spent time talking about it during our All Volunteer meeting this past week. If you are interested in donating items for this fall and winter or donating your time helping them organize the items, please contact Robyn Pinto and Lauren Cunningham.
Volunteer Spotlight
Debi Carnaroli
Debi is a treasure to serve with in Waumba Land! She is full of joy, warmth, and always has the best pair of light up shoes or sparkly accessories on our hall! She spends her Sunday mornings serving in a threes room at 11 am with a room of volunteers that have stayed together for 3 years now! They have become a little family of their own and Debi is the heart of that room. She will make sure her room is festive for all our favorite holidays and everyone is ready to bring on the FUN! She cares for each volunteer, child and family she gets to meet and they always leave her with a big smile on their faces. She helps spark the wonder and imagination to every child gets to spend time with each Sunday. You can see the light of Jesus in and around her, in the way she loves and cares for the people around her. We are so grateful to have Debi in Waumba Land!
