Lap Sitting Reminder

Please remember to have children sit next to you. Children may not sit in the laps of volunteers. Please see Christy or Heather if you have any further questions.

Icon Reminders

When checking children in on the iPad, please pay attention to the icons. The icons on the child’s name tag are slightly different, but the icons below are what the iPad will display.

  • BIRTHDAY CAKE: Child has a birthday this week. Please use the birthday box in the cabinet to give kids a crown, stickers, gift and take a Polaroid picture in front of the birthday bear. Send these home with the child.

  • FIRST AID KIT: The child has a medical condition or an allergy. Check the child’s profile for details. Make sure ALL volunteers in classroom are aware.

  • CLIPBOARD: There is a legal situation, typically a custody situation. Please make sure this child is picked up by the legal parent or guardian.

  • STAR: First time visitor and/or newly enrolled

  • VIDEO CAMERA WITH A SLASH THROUGH IT: Do not take pictures of this child. Do NOT allow photographers to take pictures of this child.
